What is the minimum fuel delivery amount?

The minimum fuel delivery amount is 400 litres.

Is there a cost to sign up for automatic delivery?

It's FREE! Island Petroleum offers this service free of charge. Our state-of-the-art energy management system will estimate when and how frequently you will require a delivery based on variables such as the size of your home, past consumption amounts and weather conditions. Leave the estimates to us, so you can focus on other things.

How do I schedule a delivery?

To schedule a home heating oil delivery, fill out the Automatic Delivery Request Form online, or contact your local Island Petroleum branch location.

How do I schedule a service appointment?

To schedule a service appointment, fill out the online Island Petroleum Equipment Service Plan form, or contact your local Island Petroleum branch location.

How can I make a payment on my account?

You can quickly and conveniently view and pay your bill online using the Island Petroleum Client Space. To register on Client Space for the first time, make sure you have a copy of your statement with you and then click here.

How do I open an account?

Opening a new residential home heating oil account is easy! Just click here to fill out an online application and a local Island Petroleum sales representative will contact you to complete the process.

How does Budget Billing Service work?

The Island Petroleum Budget Billing Service is a hassle-free way to manage your monthly oil bills—no more missed or forgotten payments! Your monthly payment will be calculated by estimating your total yearly cost and dividing it by the number of payments you’ll be making during the budget season. Because fluctuations sometimes occur due to oil prices and weather conditions, we'll double-check whether the amount needs to be adjusted mid-way through the budget season.

How do I cancel my account?

To make changes to an existing account or to close an account, please contact your local Island Petroleum branch location.

Who qualifies for the CANEX discount?

You may be eligible for this Program if you are a:

  • Canadian Armed Forces Member or Veteran (including dependents)
  • Civilian DND or NPF Employee
  • RCMP Member
Eligible customers can save up to 4 cents per litre* off the regular delivered price of home heating oil and you could also qualify for an additional rebate based on all your home heating oil purchases.
How do I sign up for the CANEX discount?

Complete the Online Referral Form to receive further information about the service and the terms and conditions of the Program in your area. Once your eligibility is confirmed, one of our home heating experts will help you select a plan that meets your needs 

Is eBilling still available?

Yes, eBilling is still available for customers who wish to receive an email alert each time the next bill is issued.

How do I register for Client Space?

To sign up on Client Space for the first time, make sure you have a copy of your statement so that you can easily locate your account number.
